Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'm inspired by people's stories--the quiet struggles, the unexpected triumphs, and all the messy, beautiful in-betweens....music is how i make sense of the world and connect with others.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would give my music a larger purpose. As someone who writes from a place of personal truth, having a chance to connect with a global audience would be deeply affirming---it's all about my song to contribute to something bigger.
What would you do with $50,000?
First, I’d donate 10% to cancer research. I’ve seen how that fight touches so many lives including mine, and I want to be part of the healing. With the rest, I’d invest in my music — recording, touring, and building a platform to reach more people. My goal is to create songs that speak to the soul and spark real change, and this funding would help me keep the message strong, independent, and growing.”
