Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up listening to 90’s music, specifically RnB and rap, so it’s always had my heart, but what inspired me to start creating music is the ability to express myself while also connecting to others. A lot of people can relate to what I’m curating. I also take huge inspiration from KARRAHBOOO for being a black female artist making it in a male dominated industry.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Preforming at the Global Citizen Festival would take me from unknown to worldwide. I lacked self confidence when I was younger, and being on a stage in front of a huge crowd of people would just confirm that I had no reason to doubt myself.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 I would be able to enhance my music and give back to my parents. As a college student studying biology, it’s nearly impossible to balance a job and education, so this money would help me during the school year to pay for rent and tuition. It would also help me pay back my parents for the rent and tuition they’ve graciously helped me with so far. With the music aspect, I would invest in studio time, a better at home set up, and a fire fit for the GCF stage.
