Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Michael Jackson showed me what it means to be original, his voice and presence were one of a kind. The Backstreet Boys made me fall in love with emotional pop and melodies that connect across generations. Lastly, Britney Spears taught me that standing out matters more than fitting in. Her sound, her growth, and her strength through it all reminded me that even if your voice isn’t “perfect”, your story and experiences can be powerful enough to make hits that last forever.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’ve spent years making music in silence, just hoping someone would hear me. To step on the Global Citizen stage would mean that someone finally did. It wouldn’t just change my life, it would let me be a voice for those who feel invisible. I’d give everything I have to make that moment not only meaningful but also fueled with impact. Not just for me but for anyone who’s ever dreamed in the dark, waiting for a light.
What would you do with $50,000?
After overcoming homelessness, I wrote 14 songs for my debut album but I don’t have the means to finish or release them as a body of work. With $50K, I’d build a professional home studio, record and produce each track and finally create music videos to share their stories visually. I’d also give back to the few who supported me when I had nothing. This wouldn’t just fund an album.. It would help me turn survival into a dream finally realized.
