Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Not one person in particular but, some of my musical inspirations are Jay-Z, A Boogie, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Rocky, DC The Don, Green Day, Michael Jackson, The Weeknd, & Brent Faiyaz. That’s at least a solid 10 of some artists I either grew up listening to, or became enamored with once I started listening to more music and making it myself (for reference, I’m 21 and have been making music since I was 11).
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact immensely. I’ve been pursuing music seriously since I was 13 and have been blessed to find success both as an artist, and in business. At 17, I signed my first management deal as an artist, and apprentice to A Boogie’s Manager, Michael “Emm” Acheampong-Boateng. At 18, I started interning at Atlantic Records under Justin Grant, and was hired by Marsha St. Hubert at 20. Now as Exec Director of Digital at Cash Cobain’s label and hope to advance my artis
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to advance my artist career further. As a young yet revered marketer, I understand that you have to keep momentum going. Being able to work with such talents like A Boogie, Don Toliver, & Cash Cobain, and seeing what goes into maintaining success on both ends, I realize it’s best to invest in yourself. If you call your number first, eventually someone else will want to bet on that same number due to the confidence instilled by myself in making that decision first.
