Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve been writing songs since I was 7. I’ve always loved to tell stories, and songwriting was just another way of doing that. I have immense respect for songwriters and people who can also tell stories, rather them being autobiographical or not, therefore, my biggest inspirations are Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Halsey and Linkin Park, although my music gravitates towards the sounds of the last.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It is among one of my biggest dreams to perform at a big festival. I’ve been dreaming about playing Rock In Rio and Lollapalooza my entire life, and I can’t even begin to imagine the effect that would have on my career, welcoming new people to listen to my sound.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use half of it to invest in my home studio, and the other half to support me for a few months while I work on my album. That way I can finally quit the day job that I hate and dedicate 100% of my time and life to my Art.
