Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I channel my sound and style from many influences from all across the spectrum. Americana doesn't fit the bill. I'm a modern acoustic singer/songwriter. Songs that paint a picture, builds as it goes, driving choruses. My lyrics are inspired by raw life experiences. I don't pander to the listener. If you dig it, you dig it.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I'm ready. I play 50 shows a year. Bars, coorperate events, parties, country clubs, festivals, block parties, weird stuff. You name it. My performance is clean. My songs are relatable and catchy and can hold an audience. I'm sure it would do a lot for my career to play the GCF, but I'm more interested in proving what I can do to elevate your festival.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'm a full time firefighter. I have a wife and 2 babies. I play shows year round with passion because I love to do it, and it helps pay the bills. With the money I'd probably update my gear and try to put together an album with a great producer and solid musicians.
