Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our music is inspired by personally witnessing humanity & lack of it, mixed with the energy of NYC: all the good, the bad & the ugly it has to offer. Our sound is inspired by a lifetime of music: Little Richard, Bad Brains, The Clash, RAMONES, Public Enemy, Black Flag, Sonic Youth, IDLES to name a few.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I have been fortunate to receive (mostly) great responses in all of my projects but with this one (Call You Out) we lose momentum between shows. We're all working day jobs to survive & pay for our passion so it makes it tricky to book as many shows as we'd like to be playing. I feel that given the opportunity to play Global Citizen Fest would get more eyes on us & get this ball rolling! Ps: I am at work as I type this.
What would you do with $50,000?
We'd invest in our music. Finally get us into the studio and record a full length album... on vinyl! We'd pay for merch, promotion and get help with booking a tour.
