Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Inspired by artists like India.Arie, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, and Liane la Havas, I create music rooted in soulful storytelling and raw emotion. With my guitar as my companion, I blend R&B, soul, and acoustic elements to share songs that heal, uplift, and connect. Music is more than sound—it's a calling to tell the truth, one chord and lyric at a time.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true and a chance to share my music on a global stage that aligns with everything I stand for. As a Queer, Black artist, my mission is to create soulful, honest songs that uplift and represent marginalized voices. This opportunity would not only elevate my career, but allow me to inspire change, connect with purpose-driven creators, and use my art to push for equity, healing, and visibility worldwide.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d bring my acoustic EP to life with top-tier production, live instrumentation, and visual storytelling through music videos. I’d invest in marketing and merch to grow my audience and build a lasting, authentic music platform. Most importantly, I’d donate part of the funds to support under-served communities because giving back and creating opportunities is deeply important to me as an artist and person.
