Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Growing up I loved watching music videos and documentaries. Some inspiration stems The Temptations to Michael Jackson to Grace Jones. Growing up I wasn’t a very impressionable child but ART is what captured my attention. Self expression and innovation is the name of the game. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m a personal fan of whimsy, so incorporating theatrical elements. Such as ambient lighting , dancing and storytelling to set the tone for each song being performed. My upcoming EP MOONSTRUCK . touches on topics of dreams to reality , romance and overcoming fears. I’m a true believer of art reflecting life so performing at Citizen Festival will correlate to what I write and sing about. What would you do with $50,000?
With 50K I would become a student of the game. Investing in vocal & dance coaches, mentorship and funds to help me relate to a different city. I’m also a creative director working a docu-series with fellow creatives so i’d invest in that. The funding will help bring my visions to life. Music videos , costumes & future music too!.
