Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am inspired by artists that remained so unequivocally original no matter what type of music they played. Bowie, Queen, Prince etc.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I have dreamt of playing in front of a crowd like that my entire life! Making music for the last 20 years has taught me so much about how to connect with an audience and listeners. I would love to impact lives the same way my heroes have impacted mine!
What would you do with $50,000?
Quit my day job, start a fund for a local label focused on talent over output, and be the most grateful musician on the planet touring at any venue that would have me!
