Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Honestly, looking at my children’s faces and seeing how perplexed they are with music brings me back to the simplicity of what I love about making music. It is a way to express emotions without words and to deeply connect to others on a level that is beyond verbal communication. My inspiration is connection and the pursuit of creation to help others with the music I create whether they are in a bad place or just need someone to empathize.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would honestly change my entire life/career and I believe it would aid in being able to collaborate with the big names that I dream of working with once that notoriety is there. I truly hope I will be able to perform at the Global Citizen Festival and share my music and my soul with the world!
What would you do with $50,000?
I would donate a portion of it to a good cause, most likely to help children in need learn music or provide instruments for them. I would invest some of it in new music production, and the rest I would put towards promotion and working with top people to help get the message and music out!
