Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have quite a variety of musical influences (mostly Female vocalists from the Soul, R&B, Jazz & Adult Contemporary genres). They are Patti Austin, Angela Bofill (deceased), Natalie Cole (deceased), Ella Fitzgerald, Dianne Reeves, Barbra Streisand, Maureen McGovern & Regine Velasquez.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I would think that it will open a lot of avenues or doors of opportunities for me as a singer! This could very well help my dream of being recognized on a National level. I was an immigrant from the Philippines when I got here at 15. I’m 50 now but to do well at this wonderful event would mean a whole lot to me.
What would you do with $50,000?
I will better my singing career by working on marketing and hopefully getting much better gigs at much better venues and to hopefully meet one of my musical influences before I die.
