Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We take inspiration from popular bands like The Beatles, The Strokes and Vampire Weekend, among others. Our family members and teachers have also taught us many valuable musical skills! Without them, this opportunity wouldn’t be possible.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would allow us to continue doing what we love more than anything: expressing ourselves artfully and entertaining others. Using music as a way of expressing ourselves has been life-changing for each one of us in Cats and Dragons.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, most of it would be used to invest in a DIY live music venue we will be helping to operate later this year for new bands to have a place to perform. It will be near Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal.
