Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up listening to artists like Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Miley Cyrus, Jack Johnson and Miranda Lambert. Today, I continue to expand my inspirations with artists such as Dolly Parton, Hozier, Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift and boygenuis. I played clarinet in jazz band, handbells in church and sang in a musical theatre troupe; all these aspects of my musical development formed how I write.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Preforming at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life changing moment in my career. It would help me find an audience, align myself with an organization that does good for the global community and share my music with a crowd of music lovers.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would self fund my album, releasing one single at a time to help build an audience. I would put it towards high quality music videos, promotional content and continuing music education.
