Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Rauw Alejandro is one of my biggest inspirations because he was a trailblazer in bringing dance to the forefront of the Urbano Latino music scene, and that’s something I want to do as well for the next generation of latin artists. I’ve loved dance since I was a kid emulating MJ, and now I am being my own person expressing myself with my own music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Even just being on stage exposes me to a huge audience of potential fans, A&Rs, publishing companies, influencers, etc, that if I impress with my singing and dancing, may be able to help me reach my goals faster. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a full production with band, dancers, lights, and everything that elevates a regular artist from a super star.
What would you do with $50,000?
After taxes, that is still a lot of money I can use. Half of it will be dedicated to marketing; ads, promotion, partnerships, influencer marketing, etc. Marketing is super important to standing out in a very saturated and noisy music market. The rest will be used to create industry quality records with reliable and talented producers and writers to create hits after hits, while also probably hiring a lawyer to help in navigating the sync licensing world. Maybe I’ll also spend $20 on lunch
