Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations are my late grandfather Roland Burton, he was a Hamptone, for Lionel Hampton. My grandfather sing lead in a song called I miss you with Lionel Hampton. I also admire late singer Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Bob Marley, Nas Escobar and Jay Z. Moreover, my Caribbean culture brings gifts through me to my music. My cousin Roh D. Roh D, taught me how to write my own music at age 8 in his Brooklyn, NY, studio.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival, would give me exposure. it would give me the type of exposure that I do not have now. It would also give me the opportunity to see how a major crowd would react to hearing my music for the first time. Honestly, it would change my life. It would be a blessing towards my music career. It would give me the adrenaline that I need to keep pushing forward. It would also teach me which one of my songs move a major crowd the most.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I win $50,000 I would spend a portion of it to seriously invest into my Music career. I want to pour as much into my music career as I can. I would also become an AirBnB host.
