CTC bring to their music a wide range of experiences and influences. From a childhood immersed in the spirits and rhythms of Central and West Africa to their coming of age in the rich acoustic traditions of Appalachia, the siblings play to a broad tapestry of musical textures. Their songs combine the deceptive simplicity of folk, rock, and pop styles with the emotional depth and power of counterculture poets from the 60s to the present.

All artists, even hermits, strive for their art to be seen, heard, felt. Playing at the Global Citizen Festival would bring our musical stories to a global audience.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would make more music! We would also invest in much-needed support systems for Indie Musicians. So much of the energy and musical creativity today lives in Indie Music, playing to a fringe audience on a shoestring.
