Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I listen to a lot of older music, mainly blues and country. Like Mississippi Fred McDowell and Waylon Jennings. I got a lot of inspiration from Scott H Biram and Emily Nenni as well, for some more modern examples. Listening to those artists inspires me to want to make some cool stuff.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Obviously this would be a meteoric boost to my music aspirations. If I could make a decent living doing what I will be doing for the rest of my life anyways, that would be a real blessing.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d pay off my truck and probably finance another album without money being an issue.
