Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve been inspired by everyone from the beatles, krs-one, kid cudi, harry mack, outkast, nas, common, b.o.b, k-os and countless others. The feeling of creating something new is indescribable! My first memories are watching music videos and strumming along on my mini guitar at 3 years old. Music flows through me, it’s my purpose in this life.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be huge to showcase my talent and message to a big audience like that! I feel ready to make greater strides in expanding as an artist and this would help me reach a lot of new people. I hope to inspire as many people as I can and help the world remember that love is what we need. And love is within us, in fact it’s who we are.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would start by putting on a charity event/show and then i would help myself and the amazing artists around me to further develop until we’re able to make music full time. Practically this means production courses/musical training and a budget for marketing our music!
