Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is deeply rooted in the music and culture of Black American and diaspora. The music and cultural experiences, that shape soul, gospel, blues, R&B, jazz, has inspired and shaped my style. From the specifics of these genres of music I am inspired to find a universal connection.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This extraordinary opportunity to perform on the Global Citizens Festival would introduce my music to a wider audience. Also, it would provide a wonderful setting to perform, share and entertain my International music brand on a global festival stage.
What would you do with $50,000?
With the $50,000.00, I would complete my latest recording project. I would have the resources to take time to write and develop new songs. Also, I would produce a concert in New York City at a local venue with emerging artist to provide an opportunity for them to share their music.
