Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Brent smith, lead singer in shinedown. has inspired me to turn the pain i’ve experienced into power. and showed me how to endure life by always showing up for myself, being kind, admitting faults in self, taking any negativity and turning it into something beautifully positive. i started playing guitar about 2 years ago, the first song i set out to learn was simple man (shinedown cover of lynryd skynyrd)
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the gcf would impact my career immensely, i currently deliver food and supplies to elementary schools for their breakfast/lunch programs. performing at gcf would put me and the music i enjoy creating on the map, i still have much to learn however the passion is undoubtedly in music for me, its helped me heal and continue on with life.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would donate half to a charity and use the rest to get myself back on my own two feet again, for me it’s been 2 steps forward 20 steps back.
