Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our band pulls inspiration from generations of artists: Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Run DMC, Tupac, Biggie, George Clinton, James Brown, Prince, Earth Wind + Fire, Mary J Blige, Luther Vandross, Curtis Mayfield, Sade, and so many more.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Our band members range from 25-65 years old. This performance would impact all of us in different ways, making our older band members finally feel recognized for their achievements and give our younger band members the drive to go for their dreams in life and make a positive impact in the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would help our families and our friends who have always been there for us. Concert after concert, they show up for us and we would love to give back to our community after all the love we have received from them.
