Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration for the most part is myself. Most of the things I do creatively are because my younger self would be so proud of where I am now. My younger self thought that even the idea of producing music, being into fashion, taking photos, rapping, was the coolest thing in the whole world. I do the things I do for my younger self, because I know that younger version of me would be so genuinely happy with everything I’m doing now.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career by giving me eyes, attention, and promotion for who I am as an artist. I would be able display my vision and thought process through stage presence of just me being myself, stage design, graphic design, song selection etc. I would be able to express my full creative vision and promote who I am as artist. It would give me amazing practice as artist for live performance and to put myself in uncomfortable situation to continue to grow
What would you do with $50,000?
I would do a few things with 50,000. The most simple out of all is just make music. I’m a work horse at heart and if I had 50,000 in my bank account and all I had to worry about is making music, all I would do is make music. I would use some money to move back to Charlotte NC (where I first locked in, in the studio)and use the rest on studio time and housing. I would use 5-10,000 completing my home studio. Any leftover money would go towards traveling, studio time, and promotion.
