Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by artists who tell the truth, even when it hurts—people like Jason Isbell, Zach Bryan, and John Mayer. But honestly, a lot of my inspiration comes from life breaking me open. I went through a divorce that nearly tore me apart, lost my life, and had to rebuild from nothing. Songwriting became a lifeline. It's how I process grief, fatherhood, love, and everything in between. So my biggest inspiration? The parts of life that don’t go the way you planned.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be life-changing. I’ve been building this one song at a time—recording in my home studio, mixing with my equipment, sharing stories that come from real heartbreak and hope. To take those songs to a global stage would mean everything, not just for exposure, but to prove that music made with honesty and soul still matters. I’m not trying to be famous—I just want to be heard by the people who need the same healing I needed.
What would you do with $50,000?
’d use it to finally make the move to New York City. I need now the ability to plant roots in a place that inspires me. NYC has shaped so many of the songs I’ve written—it’s in the bones of my record. Every song comes with a memory of a specific place. Nolita, LES. With $50,000, I’d secure housing, release my album properly, shoot visuals, and start booking live shows. I’ve been building this independently from the ground up, and this would let me take the nex
