Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our writing process is fueled by making sense of personal experiences and the poetry that it breeds. We take musical inspiration from many groups, but some of our main inspirations are The Beatles, The Strokes, Wallows, Peach Pit, Arctic Monkeys, and Sisyfuss. Above all else, our drive comes from the spirit on the Indie music genre, where we have total creative freedom to play and write outside the societal norm.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
A performance at the Global Citizen Festival would give us a platform to build an audience and would afford us the opportunity to collaborate and build relationships with other creatives in the same space. We love doing what we do, and any chance to work with other artists and experienced professionals is a chance to grow as musicians and further our own craft.
What would you do with $50,000?
The $50,000 dollars would allow us the opportunity to further our musical education by pursuing additional higher education in music performance and production. Furthermore, a portion of the money would be extremely helpful in funding a tour, allowing us to meet more artists and show even more people our songs and stories. With this money, we could follow our dreams of being full time musicians, focusing on creating the best possible material.
