Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad, who has sung in bands my whole life, was my first inspiration when I was very young. Now, my inspirations cover a wide variety of genres; Cardiacs, King Crimson, Death Grips, DEVO, Lemon Demon, KGLW, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and Tyler, the Creator in particular have all had great impacts on my musical palette.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would provide a great jumpstart to my career, being that as is I am completely unknown. I would do my best to use the momentum generated from this performance to cultivate a dedicated following that I can grow over time.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest the money into my music by buying a better computer, DAW, softwares, guitar, and bass as well as investing into growing my platform. I will do this by buying equipment and software to make algorithm-friendly social media content, which has great potential for exposure and growth. Any money leftover I will invest in studying further music theory, production, and business.
