Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration is what I see at work. I’m a police officer and a lot of my lyrics are about how I feel, what I see and how I hurt. I love the ghost inside, AFI, white chapel, basically heavy and catchy. When I get a song idea in my head I instantly have to record the idea on my phone and I’ll complete a full song in a week or less. Music is my therapy. The songs are my expression.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow me and my group to show a versatile audience some heavy mixed with some sing along catchy choruses. It would show that working professions can be musicians as well. I am the main writer but my band plays and learns what I write to bring it to life live.
What would you do with $50,000?
Probably put it away and focus on growing the music. No need to spend money the second you get it. Gotta plan for a rainy day. Probably invest in merchandise and get ready for the next album.
