Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The folk music and storytelling of the common people. I love the old cowboy songs, 60s and 70s folk, blues, and bluegrass. The pursuit of social justice and exposing hardships always inspire me to tell a story through music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The Global Citizen Festival would easily be the biggest reach I've ever accomplished for sharing my music. It would be an amazing milestone to connect with so many willing to make an impact through performance.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay off this debt that cripples my family and help other artists achieve their goals by funding and supporting their music and mine.
