Who or what is your musical inspiration?
So many artists inspire me like Kid Cudi, Pink Floyd, Blood Orange, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, JPEGMAFIA, The Weeknd, I can go on and on. My life also is what inspires my music from the sound design to the lyrics I create interesting stories and write about my life through the stories and write about my life in general. My music ranges from all types of emotions, but my album that I’ve just released is a thematic concept about where I am at in life right now and how I feel.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I have always wanted to perform my music. While making my album I had performing in mind. Each song was crafted with the desire to perform them live. I would perform my heart and soul out and give it everything I have. It would impact my career greatly as I’ve only just begun, but music is the only thing I want to do in life and I won’t stop until I make a living off of it. Music is my passion and my soul, so having thousands maybe millions listen to my music would be amazing.
What would you do with $50,000?
With the $50,000 I would help my mom get out of debt from her car accident (she’s okay but the car isn’t) and help my little sister move to college in the fall. With the remainder of the $50,000 I would use it to promote my music and buy better music equipment so my next album can sound even better. Music is all I have, and the live performance and the $50,000 would help me out incredibly. I really hope I am considered to win because you would be choosing the right person.
