Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music inspiration comes from gospel, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Yebba, Afrocentric, Eminem, Omarion, Adele, Amy winehouse, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Jazz, Masego Ciara, tamela Mann, Clark sisters, Karen shared, J moss, Maverick City, and tye tribbett. All of these people have touched my heart and a different way. I learned how to sing because I realized that if I sing my kids to sleep they will fall asleep faster and I just got better.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival will impact my career because there would be a lot of people who will be able to be uplifted by my sound. Performing at the global citizens festival will not only allow me to gain a wonderful experience but it will also leave everyone with a unique experience from me as well. Being able to get my sound to more people will uplift the vibration of this Earth. It will be a win for us all, it's not just about me.
What would you do with $50,000?
Over the last 3 years my life has changed drastically and I have been able to maintain. I lost my mother, I separated myself from my family, I'm going through divorce, and this is the first time I've ever been completely alone. I am a mother of three and even though we struggle they understand the art of giving thanks to God no matter where we are. Being able to have a secure home it's one of the most important things because I do not want to be homeless again. I'm fighting for a better life.
