Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The main musical influences I have are: 1) The Roots 2) The Beatles 3) Gorillaz However, I would say the main passion for my songwriting is that I have three daughters and really want to impact the future of the world to become a more hospitable place for them.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m sure it couldn’t hurt ;) Honestly, I’m sure that would probably be the biggest group of people I’ve ever shared music with in a live setting ever, and I would be very honored to do so.
What would you do with $50,000?
I probably would use that to help my daughters pay for college
