Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I was inspired by my life and what I’ve been thru that’s what fuels my music. My favorite artist is lil Wayne, but my aunt Anne is the reason I do music in the first place. As a kid I used to get angry a lot and act out, she made me turn it into poetry so I did. After having books of Poetry she made me put a beat behind them poems and the rest was history.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would put a light on me and my city that’s been very much needed. It would give me a chance to show that I am the next top artist and not only for hip hop for any genre. It would show that NC has a lot of talent from every side of NC.
What would you do with $50,000?
Invest it into my career, things like my marketing and promotion. Making sure I have a proper and professional sound and music video and go from there.
