Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We’d all answer differently! Some of us would point to obscure old Latin music, others to genre-bending artists like St. Vincent, Talking Heads, David Bowie, and for Connor it’s usually deep pull indie or grunge or metal bands with names like Trunk or Screw
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We met as college kids in New York City and the Global Citizen Festival was such a transformational event when it started up. As adopted New Yorkers, playing our biggest show yet in Central Park would be a dream come true. If we can get thousands of people singing along to our silly choruses, that’s more than worth the price of admission — but to put our music on the map would mean so much.
What would you do with $50,000?
It would be transformational! We’d invest it right back in the band, letting us spend more time in the studio and on the road. And we promise we’ll put something absurd on the billboard.
