Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am inspired by my ability to survive. And inspired by so many other survivors of abuse and harassment. I fight for us, I write and sing for us. I want to spread as much awareness as I can. Kesha & Chris Hansen are also huge inspirations.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me so much exposure to spread as much awareness as I can about survivors and how much we deal with and fight through and for. I would feel so accomplished and happy to get my message to so many people.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest it right back into my music, as well as donate a very significant portion to RAINN for sexual abuse survivors like me. I would love to record in a better studio, instead of my kitchen with my limited equipment.
