Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My first musical inspiration is my parents who exposed me to all kinds of music at an early age! I learned with they like as listeners and remember those taste choices as i make my own music!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me a launching pad to reach a huge audience of soul and rock music lovers around the world, and put me on the radar of so many respected industry eyes.
What would you do with $50,000?
I think I'm the spirit of the contest, given subject of the material, and the context of our times, the money should be put towards an Indigenous or African American women's rights/ Women's health advocacy group. The women of soul are heroes of mine musically, and it would be a honor to offer this gesture of thanks while they and so many others are being assaulted amd dehumanized by the authoritarian elements in US government.
