Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'm inspired by the people I’ve met, the places I’ve lived, and the songs that shaped my childhood. I’m the youngest by 11 years, so I grew up listening to my siblings’, parents’ and grandparents’ music. Being surrounded by so many eras and styles taught me that music is a way to tell stories and connect generations. I’m influenced by Latin icons like Shakira and Juanes, indie voices like Juan Pablo Vega and Esteman, and classics like Electric Light Orch
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would be a huge step in my career and a chance to show how music transcends borders. Decades ago, it was rare to hear Spanish-language songs outside Spanish-speaking countries. Today, music speaks every language. As an independent Colombian artist, sharing my roots on a stage like this would help me grow, reach new audiences, and most of all, keep doing what I love on a bigger stage, with purpose and heart.
What would you do with $50,000?
As an independent artist, this would make a real difference. I’d use it to record new music, create visuals, and start touring. One of my biggest goals is to make a visual album that brings my music and filmmaking together. I’d also like to give something back to my family, whose support helped me get here. Most of all, it would help me keep building something real, step by step.
