Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from eras. My songs are colored in hues of ’70s southern rock/folk, ‘90s rock/grunge, and the catchy melodies of modern music. On a deeper level, my music is rooted in my stories, experiences, and emotions. My lyrics are deeply personal, yet crafted to be relatable —so others can find pieces of themselves in them. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would solidify my authenticity as an artist. It would highlight the reason I create music: to connect with others and contribute to something bigger than myself. The Global Citizen Festival uses music to unite people around global change and inspire action through art, which aligns perfectly with my belief that entertainment should move people—not just emotionally, but toward a better world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’m genuinely excited about this opportunity as it aligns with what I care about most. While the cash prize is appreciated, what really matters to me is the chance to make an impact and be part of something meaningful. That being said, I would use this money to further my career in efforts to spread my music, message, and positivity to the people who want to hear it.
