Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am inspired by Thom Yorke, Billie Eilish, Rick Rubin, Einstein, and more. My musical inspiration really comes from the universe. I think creativity flows through the energy of the present moment, and it’s in being so in tune with the current vibration of the world that inspires me and makes my voice so special. I feel so inspired by art/artists that are genuinely authentic and speak to the rawness of the human condition; voices that challenge conventional ways of expression inspire me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The most exciting part about performing at the Global Citizen Festival for me would be the opportunity to simply play my music and share my voice with people in the most literal sense. It would give me the chance to connect physically and emotionally with people from all over the country, getting my name known, and it’d give me an opportunity to become a stronger performer. Ultimately, it would give me more confidence to record/release my music. Playing this Festival would change my life.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would help pay for post-chemotherapy health issues that someone I love more than the world (and would like to remain anonymous) has. She has shaped my life and I’m committed to helping hers. I would help pay for college tuition for my siblings and I, and I’d also love to use some of the money to support my career in music and the arts.
