Who will perform at the Global Citizen Festival, appear in Rolling Stone, and take home $50,000?
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
It’s my family. My mom raised me to be a musician. She would sing karaoke almost everyday in our home. Compete in local shows. My grandfather is my other personal inspiration. A great man who played guitar and sang. He taught me life lessons through martial arts training as well for years. I’ve been involved in so many genres from mainly metal to hip hop and standard rock. Too many artists to name. I also have tuned and built steel drums and learned a lot of that style of music doing
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
My life purpose is to write and perform music. I’m a music teacher now as well. So it would give me an opportunity to move further in my musical career. At the moment I write all the parts and self produce as I learn production. Being able to perform my original music with a band behind me would be a totally new experience as the sole writer. After 25 years of performing as a bassist, guitarist and drummer for projects that I only filled the role I was picked to do.
What would you do with $50,000?
Take care of my family and invest into the next opportunity that was presented from winning the competition.
