Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration began as a young boy when I was growing up in the system. I use to love singing rnb songs that I’d hear on the radio. Artists like Micheal Jackson and Babyface would help me get through some tough times. I also realized that it was in my dna because my mom was a gospel singer. Later down the road I started writing poetry to help me cope with my depression and anxiety. Overall, growing up being institutionalized has inspired me to be the voice for the voiceless.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Well I’m just a needle in a haystack so I believe this opportunity will give me more exposure that’s needed to be heard by the right peoplein the music industry that would want to do business with me.
What would you do with $50,000?
I will make sure that my wife and kids our well off. I will pay off my school loan and other debts. Last but not least, further my career in the music industry.
