Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I started piano at 6 thanks to my dad, who introduced me to Johnny Ventura and Santana on road trips in the DR. After he passed, music became my refuge. My sound was shaped by Lil Wayne, Drake, The Weeknd, PartyNextDoor, Kanye West, and Bon Iver—artists who pushed sonic boundaries or taught me to feel deeply. I’m drawn to emotion, minimalism, and innovation—across genres, languages, and eras.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would change my life—and my team’s—forever. I’m not just a solo act. I need my engineer, my background vocalist, visuals behind me, and two shooters capturing everything. This isn’t just a performance—it’s a message. And I’ve only truly performed once. This would be my second time, but the first time I speak to the world as who I really am. That stage, that exposure, that moment—it would be a rebirth.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d turn $50K into a foundation—something bigger than me. I wouldn’t spend it. I’d invest it to create lasting opportunities for my team and grow what we’ve built with our own hands. I’m not chasing comfort. I’m chasing impact. This would be a seed for something self-sustaining, something that multiplies. And once it grows, I’ll give back—to the next generation of kids who just need a shot like I did.
