Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My mother was my very first inspiration, she took me to drum and piano lessons, made sure I practiced regularly and brought me to all of my rehearsals and performances in NYC when I was too young to ride the train by myself. Now my eight your old daughter is my inspiration.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Because this festival is all about raising awareness and helping the less fortunate, and to be a part of the solution is where I want my music to live. And it would put my career on a global map.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would save some of the money for my daughters college education and give the rest to a charity with the global citizens festival that really makes a difference in this global problem we have which is poverty.
