Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'm a sucker for a great melody and killer guitar riffs! I have an eclectic palate of music tastes that range from modern metal all the way back to the golden oldies. I would have to say my greatest musical influence is Chris Cornell. His amazing songwriting and phenomenal vocal talent blew me away as a kid and still does today.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I believe performing at the Global Citizen Festival would make a huge impact on my career by providing an opportunity to have my music in front of a much larger audience. Recording the greatest music is the first challenge, the next one is to get it to the ears of the people! I feel my music will connect and relate to a large audience and this festival will provide that opportunity.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I had $50,000, I would put most of it towards making another recording and touring. I have fans across the country and the world that would love to come to a performance but touring is expensive so I play a limited amount of shows every year. I would take a little bit of it and pay off some bills from the last recording and tour!
