Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am inspired across genres and with multiple artists. This starts with classical music like Beethoven, artists through the all the phases of recorded music, it goes from James Brown to j Cole. I also have a lot of influence from Jimi Hendrix Nirvana , system of a down, and rage against the machine. My love of music transcends putting it in a box.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be another major festival that I have headlined and collaborated hopefully long-term yearly annually with the team. Most other promoters that have brought me in generally keep me as a resident DJ for the main stage or that the talent buyers keep me in rotation on different stages. I also do sometimes they're pre parties or after parties.
What would you do with $50,000?
Both my parents have been sick dealing with various issues and my sister just lost her husband to fentanyl overdose. I would use the money to help with my sister's children and the rest of my family supporting them. I would also want to give back to the community I live in South Central Los Angeles , there's a lot of poverty.
