Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My mother mainly. She could have been the next Beyoncé but reality & real life kicks in and it was too late for her to reverse her steps. Seeing what happened to my mother I won’t let myself be a victim of circumstance. I’m from California & raised in Atlanta. That paired with who I am & who I’ve become as a person. I feel like that’s a perfect base for trying to accomplish my goals & I know I can bring people together & make music feel fun agai
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would help my audience find me. The people around me believe in me but the majority of people don’t see you how you view yourself. This will give me a boost. A chance to show people what I’m about & the people in my corner would love to experience it too. I’m pretty sure theirs a bunch of people rooting to perform. If I got a spot & was allowed to present my craft, Regardless if I win anything, it will boost my goals into motion. I’ve also been very clouded on
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d take care of some of my real issues such as getting an apartment & finally getting my car running. But after that it’d be put towards some equipment, my image & throwing my own events. I’d give my family what I owe them & save for the next obstacle that presents itself whenever.
