Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up singing and playing piano to Evanescence and Vanessa Carlton songs and they inspired me to start writing my own songs. I also studied classical piano music and fell in love with the romantic styles of Chopin.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I have always been a performer, whether it was through solo piano performance, theatre, competing in pageants, or being a spokesperson for national organizations. However, performing at the Global Citizen Festival would help me make my mark on the world as not just a musician but as a true songwriter and rocker that I have always dreamed of being.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use towards investing in my music career like buying a brand new stage piano, purchasing my first home with my fiancé, and also donate a portion of it to my favorite non-profit Kids Rock the Nation which provides musical instruments to schools and students in need.
