Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, a host of pickers that passed through my hometown, but mostly my mother (R.I.P), who encouraged my career in music 100%.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the GCF would present my music to a new audience, a new generation of music aficionados. It will allow me to continue to put smiles on faces, and to communicate with a new generation. Im on a mission to do that. I’m ready. This would be a giant step forward.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would keep a couple of thousand back for my music career. Also, I’d give some to my children. The rest would go to 3 charities I would give it to, including St Jude’s.
