Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My earliest exposure to music was classic chicago house, metal, and country. As I’ve grown, I’ve gone through about every genre, but my soul lives with bass and melodics. My ultimate inspiration is Skrillex, himself being one who has been successful through multiple genres and remains humble. I am also inspired by FKJ, a multi-instrumentalist who creates a gorgeous soundscape.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me the opportunity of a lifetime by allowing me to showcase my diverse mixing skills and production. I love finding ways to connect with diverse crowds by incorporating multiple genres with familiar melodies and samples.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay off my car and find a way to invest - the market is so difficult right now, especially for zilennials and younger. I want to build a reality where I can afford to be a mom. I would also send my parents on a vacation. They’ve worked so hard to provide for us 5 siblings and I’ve always dreamt of an opportunity to give back.
