Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration as a person ranges from names like Mac miller and Rick Rubin, all the way to Mac Demarco, j dilla, Jon bellion, and a multitude of others. My inspiration as an energy is that I feel it’s who I truly am as a person. Music is my core, my livelyhood, and my only way of true expression. The ability to be myself through and through, and feel like, even if for a brief moment, I am 100% myself with no exceptions, is the reason I do what I do.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it would give me a true shot at gaining some real stage experience, as well as prove not only to me, but to the world that I truly am someone who has a shot at a real, long lasting career. Wether it makes me a star overnight or gives me just enough for a start, it will be an important portion of my ever growing career.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to not only invest in my music, but in my community as a whole. It would be used to start the venture outside of my music that would build my fanbase and reach beyond just the art. It would allow me to find new way to reach people and help someone find somewhere they feel they belong.
