Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our sound draws from a wide mix of influences—from the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac to Lana Del Rey, Motley Crue, The Cramps, and Chris Stapleton. With roots in wildly different genres, we’ve carved out a vibe that’s been called “genre-bending”—which is a polite way of saying we don’t like to color inside the lines.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We’ve been working hard as a band writing, performing, & releasing music for over 7 years together but it’s been difficult to break through the noise of the countless other bands and artists out there. This would be an incredible step for us to be seen in front a whole new audience and hopefully open the door to more opportunities.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would invest it right back into the band! We have so much more new music but don’t have the extra funds right now to record, mix/ master, promote and do everything we’d like to. We would use it to make our first full length album, promote and market it and do everything we can to spread the music. It would be a dream come true.
